Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2025

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using The Seeker, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the service. These terms apply to orchestrators (registered users who create and manage projects) and respondents (public users who participate in conversations via a shared link).

2. Description of service

The Seeker is a conversational research platform that enables orchestrators to conduct AI-assisted interviews at scale. Orchestrators create projects, define question banks, and share links with respondents. Respondents participate in conversations and their responses are compiled into structured outputs.

The service is provided as-is. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. User obligations

Orchestrators

  • You are responsible for the content of your question banks and how you use the data collected.
  • You must obtain appropriate consent from respondents before collecting their responses, particularly in regulated contexts (healthcare, research, education).
  • You may not use The Seeker to collect sensitive personal data (financial credentials, passwords, government IDs) or to conduct deceptive or manipulative conversations.
  • You may not share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access to your workspace.

All users

  • You may not use The Seeker to violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • You may not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service.
  • You may not use the service to generate, store, or transmit content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on third-party rights.

4. Data and content

Orchestrators retain ownership of the question banks and project configurations they create. Conversation content (respondent messages, transcripts, and final drafts) is stored within the orchestrator's workspace and is accessible only to that workspace's members.

By using The Seeker, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content for the purpose of providing the service. We do not sell your data or use it to train AI models without explicit consent.

5. Limitations of liability

The Seeker is provided without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or inaccuracies in AI-generated outputs.

AI-generated summaries and final drafts are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before making decisions based on them.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine that you have violated these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, unless required by law to retain it longer.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of The Seeker will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via the dashboard. Continued use of The Seeker after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
